Parami University Signs Memorandum of Understanding with Bard College

Parami University and Bard College signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) on December 11, 2020 for a collaboration in education and academic research which aim to promote academic cooperation and exchange for the mutual benefit of their respective institutions.

Dr. Kyaw Moe Tun and Dr. Leon Botstein, presidents of Parami University and Bard College, respectively, signed the MoU on behalf of their organizations.

With this cooperative agreement, Bard College will support Parami University in efforts to develop a modern liberal arts and sciences curriculum and pedagogy by providing technical expertise as well as opportunities for knowledge exchange, to promote the development of studies and educational programs.

Serving as the US accreditation partner for Parami, Bard college will provide Bard-accredited degrees to Parami University students starting from the graduating class of 2026, subject to the approval by its accrediting body, the Middle States Commission on Higher Education. It is our anticipation that students upon graduation will be awarded dual degrees—one from Parami University and one from Bard College.
