Read MoreA fresh start to the new year 2022, and we wish this new year will bring you aspirations, good health, and prosperity.
We would like to start this new year with hopes and a meaningful commitment to offering more inclusive and well-rounded education and continuing learning opportunities to Myanmar youth from all walks of life. Given the political turmoil and the pandemic that hindered the public education system and schools in Myanmar and shattered many youth's hopes, we continue to uphold our commitment. Parami students have demonstrated great enthusiasm and dedication towards their learning despite the prolonged power outages and network issues that have beset online learning. During the fall semester of 2021, Parami was able to offer over 50 courses to 500 students free of charge. In this first modular period of the spring semester, Parami is offering around 15 modular courses to approximately 300 student seats per module.
To keep their learning alive, Parami is looking to raise $30,000. Your donation will directly contribute to the students' Infrastructure Communications Tools (ICT) support, tuition fees for the modular courses, and additional programs such as civil engagement projects, mobile data stipend, and psychosocial support programs.
Donation Packages:
Your $50 equivalent to 100,000 MMK donation (will support one student for the student's ICT support)
Your $100 equivalent to 200,000 MMK donation (will support student's tuition for one seat in a modular course)
Any other amount that you donate will contribute to Parami additional programs:
