Parami University and Bard College (NY) are pleased to announce a call for applications to the Higher Education Access Program (HEAP). HEAP is a preparatory program for students who have experienced barriers to completing secondary school or who need additional critical thinking, digital literacy, analysis, and academic writing skills in order to be successful in an international university degree program. HEAP provides the comprehensive skills needed to apply to international universities, with personalized guidance to help students succeed. Parami University and Bard College partner to deliver a joint degree via online delivery to students in Myanmar, Africa and Jordan.
Accepted students will take live online courses with Bard-affiliated professors and will engage in group work with other students at Bard partner campuses located in the U.S., Europe, Canada, South America, and East Asia. All classes are taught in English.

What will I study?
Advanced academic English, Study Skills, and Digital Literacy classes, academic writing through content in the STEM and Social Sciences fields. The program concludes with intensive workshops on application preparation and test taking.
What is expected of me?
You will be expected to attend classes for ~6 hours per week and complete at least ~4 hours of homework per week. You must attend every single online class and hand in all assignments on time.
What will I get?
*A Bard/Parami Certificate of Completion, recognized by universities across the globe
*A sealed Bard College transcript with credits that are transferable
*Individual faculty-led support to identify and prepare for university opportunities in Asia and/or online
