Commencement 2024
Parami proudly announces its inaugural AA degree graduation ceremony, to be held at Mercure Hotel in the heart of Chiang Mai. Join us as we celebrate the academic achievements of our students and mark this significant milestone in their educational journey.

Graduation Requirements
Students are certified to receive the Associate in Arts (AA) degree upon fulfilling these requirements:

Cumulative grade point average of 2.00 or higher;
-
Successful completion of at least 60 credit hours;
-
Completion of a minimum 30 credit hours taken at Parami University;
-
Completion of required workshops/programs;
-
Fulfillment of four seminar sequence courses (16 credits);
-
Fulfillment of two English Composition sequence courses (8 credits);
-
Fulfillment of three humanities/social science distributional electives (9 credits);
-
Fulfillment of three math/science distributional electives (9 credits); and
-
Fulfillment of one art distributional elective (3 credits)
​Graduating students with a GPA of at least 3.50 graduates with distinction.

We recommend making hotel reservations at least one month prior to the graduation date.

Photography
​
Commencement photos of graduates walking across the stage will be taken during the Ceremony by Lannavdo Photography.

Travel Information for Families
​
We strongly recommend purchasing your air ticket at least
1 month prior to the graduation date.
Should you plan to bring more than two guests,
please inform us in advance to purchase additional guest tickets
and should be bought before 10th May.

Guest Arrival and Seating
​
The door will open an hour prior to the commencement at 8:00 am ICT and we kindly request all students and guests to arrive by 8:30 am, ready to follow the directions given by Parami University’s directional staff and to be guided to their seats.
​
Graduation Walk and Assembly Process
​
Parami University’s Directional staff members will assist students and faculty with gowns and caps check, as well as prepare everyone to enter the hall and walk, while also organizing the faculty onto the stage and arranging the students each line into alphabetical order.
