“English Writing for the Workplace” is designed to equip students with the tools necessary for professional writing. The material is presented in an engaging manner through a series of writing activities, case studies, and discussions. The first half of the course covers the basics of effective writing such as sentence structure, word choice, and paragraph organization. The second half of the course applies these skills to workshop students’ CVs, cover letters, proposals, and other writing projects. This program is taught by Evelyn Yu Yu Swe (B.A. Political Science and Philosophy, College of Wooster; CELTA, ILC – France).
